Next Northampton Manager

Post by PuffinDragon on Sat Nov 19, 2011 1:14 am

It was said in an interview that we'd be looking to appoint someone within two weeks in his interview on monday night, so I'm this might linger on a bit, but rumours shouldn't be that far off. Whoever takes over has a cluster-fuck to deal with - Johnson's last interview in the paper was to say that after leaving the FA cup in the first round we would have to release some players with no replacements incoming to help balance the books, so whoever takes over is going to have to squad trimming in January, so forget bringing in your own players! Further more, we're on a run of 6 losses in 7, and very very close to be considered relegation battle material with Christmas looming in.

It's a fairly daunting job, and while we can offer a good budget for this league it comes with rediculous expectations, and besides... the budgets already used up. So who's stupid enough to be lining themselves up for a crack at sorting this out?
